Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has hailed his squad for a “peaceful” build-up to their group opener against a Benin side desperate to end a winless record at the African football showpiece.
Appiah was in the first of two spells as the Black Stars coach when his players threatened to boycott a match at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil over unpaid bonuses.
Today, Kwesi Appiah is set to Mark his return with the AFCON opener, and this will be his major tournament with the black stars, ever since Andre Dede Ayew was named the skipper of the side.
With a promising start, Coach Kwesi Appiah has assured Ghanaians of more Goals ahead of Ghana vs Benin game in Group F of this year’s AFCON.
We can’t wish them anything but the best of luck in tonight’s game.
The games comes off at exactly 8pm on GTV and Max TV, and also airs on SuperSports 4 & 10 on DsTV.
