Ghana’s ‘Usain Bolt’, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah who is the man of the moment for snatching ballot papers in parliament.
The Member of parliament for Tema-West snatched ballot papers from the hands of the parliamentary official and bolted through the exit of the chamber amidst resistance from his colleagues.
He was not successful as he was accosted by security and some MPs before he could leave the chamber and the ballots retrieved.
As usual, social media reactions have taken the incident in Parliament on another tangent, creating memes of the legislator.
Artiste manager, Bulldog has added his voice to the brouhaha.
Bulldog posted screenshots of stories published by Pulse Ghana and Graphic Online detailing how a ballot box snatcher was killed during the 2020 general elections and how another ballot box snatcher at Sene West was jailed 3 months in additions to 5 months for his infamous act.
Indirectly, he is highly expecting the law to deal with him vigorously.
He wrote;
Ballot box snatchers one gunned down and one jailed in the just ended general election held on December 7 2020.
And this was exactly what happened in parliament in the early hours of 7 January 2021.
Trust that the MP involved will get his V8 and all the benefits that comes with it for wrongdoing!
