Ghana Has A Chance Of Winning The 2022 Qatar World Cup – Samuel Eto’o

Cameroon football legend, Samuel Eto’o who is currently in Ghana, sat in the studios of TV3 today for an interview on the Warm Up Plus show, remarked that he has a strong hope that an African country might win this edition of the world cup, which will be held in Qatar.

The last time an African country performed exceptionally well on the world stage of the World Cup was Ghana in 2010, when the Black Stars finished in the quarter-finals with an excellent chance of progressing to the next stage, but all dreams didn’t manifest to reality.

However, Samuel Eto’o, speaking on TV3, revealed that just like any other African country, Ghana also has a chance of bringing the trophy to the African continent for the first time.

He said:

Every World Cup is unique. We want African teams to partake and have a good World Cup.

“Why not? An African team can lift the World Cup. Ghana missed it by a shot.
