Good news coming in has revealed that Joy FM’s George Quaye has been elected as the Arts and Tourism Writers Association of Ghana (ATWAG) President for the next four years.
According to reports, he would be managing the affairs of the organization after taking over from William Asiedu, a journalist.

Freelance radio and television host Livingstone Lotsu has also been elected as the vice president whiles Hagar Gyebuwaa Owusu of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) emerged as the Treasurer of the association, with Rebekah Awuah also of GBC taking over from arts and entertainment journalist, Reagan Odei Ofosu Osarfo (Nana Reagan) as secretary.
The date for the swearing-in is yet to be announced after the election took place on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
