Fuse ODG finally reveals why he burnt a portrait of Jesus Christ

Fuse ODG, a Ghanaian afrobeats musician located in the United Kingdom, has burned a portrait of Jesus Christ, which many Christians consider blasphemy last year.

According to Fuse, it is wrong for Christians, particularly Africans, to display pictures of a white Christ in their churches and homes because it’s fake.

Whiles defending his actions, he said;

For the oppressed, as Africans, we can hope that the oppressors can do the right thing but we cannot depend on it. We need to take our faith into our own hands. We have the responsibility to deal with our own truth and it starts with this (pointing to Jesus’ painting),” he stated.

This is a seed. This is the seed that gave birth to [Adolf] Hitler and his doctrine. This is the seed that gave birth to the KKK, the apartheid in South Africa, the Rwandan genocide, a people of colour bleaching across the globe till date as we speak, and the list goes on.

This is not even biblical. If you read the Bible, it specifically tells us not to create any images in the form of a man or a woman or any creature on earth. This is ‘idology’ and again if you read the Bible there’s nothing that got hate than idol worship. We need to take down this images and worship God in spirit and in truth.

After coming under a barrage of attacks for his assumed blasphemous act, Fuse ODG has dished out a piece of his mind to Christians who have gauged that he will rot in hell.

During an interview with Andy Dosty on HITZ FM’s ‘Day Break Hitz, Fuse ODG maintained that he didn’t burn the portrait of Jesus but rather, a picture of a white man posing to be Christ.

To get ‘Black People’ to do what they wanted, White people actively intended to influence our minds by presenting white image to us Jesus Christ, he added.
