Reports reaching Gossips24.com indicates the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) office near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle has been set on fire by an unknown cause.
Videos sighted by Gossips24.com indicate some parts of the big office has burnt severely with some documents feared to have gone down with the fire.
Fire Service are currently trying to contain the fire but indications are that they are having a tough time as the fire continues to spread.
An eyewitness says the fire has been blazing for over an hour-and-a-half.
Some onlookers were upset with the Fire Service’s handling of the situation and accused them of not being prepared enough to handle the blaze.
A water tanker with military officers later arrived on the scene to cheers from the otherwise angry onlookers.
