Former Member of parliament under the ordinance of NDC, George Loh has stated that his financial state is now deplorable since he left office.
According to the former MP, many people believe that politicians are automatically wealthy because they end up stealing state finances.
To debunk this ideology, Mr. George Loh stated in an interview with Samuel Eshun on the Happy Morning that his profession as a lawyer fetches him more money than his political career.
According to him, some ordinary workers are much wealthier than politicians because they also engage in corrupt activities.
He later added that politicians in Ghana are forced to please everybody by living in some kind of way that suits higher standards.
