A final year Accounting student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, has died after being hit by a trailer, following a brake failure.
According to reports on social media, Ebenezer Chiwendu Linda aka Wendy, was hit at the busy Mayfair bus stop, on Monday evening. The student, who was at the last stage of ICAN, was later confirmed dead at the OAUTH.
Taking to Twitter, @IpayeOlawale wrote;
Wendy Ebenezer was a 400L of Management and Accounting of @OAU. She wrote the final stage of ICAN during the just concluded May-diet exam.
She died as a result of failure of car brake which caused the car to hit and run over her from behind.
