The World’s football governing body FIFA has been said to have rubbished the protest and allegations made by South Africa against Ghana after they lost 1 nil during the world cup qualifiers.

According to reports FIFA has rejected South Africa’s protest against Ghana and Senegalese referee Maguitta Ndiaye following the 1-0 defeat a fortnight ago.

Ghana who was in need of a three-point during their match against South Africa had a penalty kick after Daniel Amartey was brought down in the penalty box of South Africa which was scored by the captain of the Black Stars Dede Ayew.

The lone goal of the Black stars gave them the three points which they needed to seal their qualification to the next step of the world cup qualifiers.

Well in the latest update FIFA has thrown out South Africa’s plea for a replay of the match after they presented their petition.

Ghana will progress to the next stage of the competition and face either Senegal who is currently rye best-ranked county on the continent or Morocco.
