Boyfriend of the late Queen Nwazuo who was killed as a result of shootings in Oyigbo on October 22, has made some allegations on BBC that he saw the policeman who shot her.
Prior to this revelation, it was rumored that the 30-year old HND student of the Abia State Polytechnic was hit by a stray bullet while in their shop but her boyfriend is saying otherwise.
According to the boyfriend, Monday Bakor, he witnessed everything while they were closing their shop.
“I saw the policeman wearing a red beret. Before I could know, I heard a very loud sound, not in the air, directly at the shop. The bullet pierced through the iron door and hit her,”
“I rushed her to a hospital where she was confirmed dead,” He said.
Rivers State police denied receiving reports of such a case but Monday Bakor said he could not report the sad incident as a result of an imposed curfew in the area while other stations had been destroyed by hoodlums.
