The Son of Legendary Nigerian Musician, Fella Kuti has revealed that he has stopped smoking and has said why.
The Musician known as Femi Kuti made this known in a response to twitter users who blamed a post he made concerning the endsars campaign on his smoking.
Shortly after his post that said; “To put as short as possible-#EndSARS peaceful protest started, police attacked & failed, thugs sent & failed demands of the protest grew larger #EndBadGovernanceinNIGERIA, soldiers sent to shoot. Palliatives meant for the people found. All hell breaks out. Govt failed its people.”, a Twitter user named Collins came out on him saying he should stop smoking.
”Stop smoking weed your father is more knowledgeable than these”.
To this, Mr. femi Kuti replied saying; ”I don’t smoke…”.
He further added his reason when another user bashed him saying his brother Seun Kuti would not be happy with his comment because he smokes. ”Seun Kuti won’t “like” this tweet.🤣🤣”
This was Femi’s response; “Why not? I have nothing against smokers. I smoked b4, I just prefer to live my life smoke free like this.”
