The Minister for Energy John Peter Amewu has cut sod for the construction of a Hall of Excellence in Alavanyo Abehenease in the Hohoe Constituency.
Mr. Amewu addressing a durbar of Chiefs and people of the area disclosed the amount of money to be used for the project.
He mentioned that GHC1million will be used to construct the Hall of Excellence specified by the Bui Power Authority.
Meanwhile the chiefs and the people have donated a two acre land that sould be used for the project.
Mr. Amewu who is also the NPPs Parliamentary Candidate for the area appealed to the people to consider the good works of the current government and make the right decision coming December 7, 2020.
“President Akufo-Addo has done a lot for Alavanyo and he is willing and ready to do a lot more for you if you give him another four years. That alone will be possible if you also vote for me to represent you in Parliament and work together with him for you.” he said.
The Energy Minister was also enstooled Development Chief of Alavanyo Agorxoe under the stool name Togbe Agor I.
