Elections 2020: Samini details how Nana Addo’s free SHS policy has helped him to save a lot of money
New member of the NPP campaign team, Samini, has reiterated the benefits of Nana Addo’s free SHS initiative during an NPP virtual rally.
Reechoing the significance of the scheme and it’s remarkable impact on the lives of Ghanaians mostly parents, the dancehall don dada publicly revealed that policy has eased the financial burden he used to carry on his head some time ago and he’s now able to save monies which were formerly meant to be used to pay school fees.
Free SHS is not for NPP or NDC, it’s not for any other political party it’s for Ghana because every Ghanaian child is going to benefit, every Ghanaian student is going to benefit if the school is for free if SHS is for free and I hear it’s even extended to the Technical Institutions as well so it’s even broader.
I support a lot of children to go to school. The fact that I don’t pay school fees anymore for these children makes me feel the essence of Free SHS and the fact that at a point it was thought that it could never happen, I believe that now that it’s happening if we allow it to continue for the next four years regardless of how the system might be, I’m sure they will be able to find a way to make it permanent.’
He ended his submissions by urging Ghanaians to massively vote for Nana Addo on 7th December.
