NPP’s Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has been declared the winner of the seat at Yendi constituency in the Northern Region.
The son of the late former Vice President of Ghana polled 12,144 votes as against his closest contender and NDC candidate Lawyer Jofa Fatawu Alhassan who garnered 7,200 votes.
