Scanty reports making rounds on social media say ballot papers without the portion of incumbent Akufo-Addo are been issued to voters at the upper East Region.
It is unclear what reason is behind this but the attention of the Electoral Commission have been drawn to the development.
Voting has successfully begun in some parts of the country.
