The aftermath of the 2020 General elections in Ghana has been followed by milled turmoil and consistent protest by the NDC because of what they claimed as a ” flawed elections”.

This series of demonstrations have drawn the eyes of many Ghanaians and renowned Ghanaian journalist, Kweku Baako was not left out in the action.
Kweku Baako stated emphatically that the NDC would not gain anything from the series of demonstrations that they are embarking on. He added that the NDC sympathizers can strip naked on the streets but the results of the elections will not be overturned.
He added that the appropriate avenue for the NDC to contest the elections is the Supreme Court.
“Let them demonstrate for the next 10 years. They should go on hunger strike . . . They can do anything they want. The only way they can get this verdict, that’s the Presidential one and now the Parliamentary one is to go to the appropriate forum”, he said on the Wednesday edition of Peace FM’s flagship Kokrokoo Show.
“Nobody is saying they cannot demonstrate. At times, some people ask is that not a democratic right? It is. What we’re saying is that if you seek to cure the mischief, the perceived mischief of an election dispute, there’s only one area. The rest you can shout; you can make noise. You can strip naked and run through the streets,” Kweku Baako added.
