With less than 28 days to the 2020 December polls, the People’s National Convention (PNC), has revealed that it’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. David Apasera will begin his campaign tour on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
In a statement issued by the Party’s General Secretary and Communications Director, Mr. Awudu Ishaq, the tour would begin in the North East Region with a courtesy call on the Nayiri, the overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area.
The statement further revealed that, the party’s campaign would focus on the theme ‘Delivering Prosperity to All Ghanaians’.
“And as part of the tour, the PNC Presidential Hopeful would be interacting with farmers, market women, artisans and youth groups across the length and breadth of the North-East Region. The Flag bearer and his team would take the opportunity to digest the content of the PNC Manifesto on job creation, Economic Self-sufficiency, Free Education as well as Free Medical Care to the audience.”
The statement added that “as the PNC aims to get a respectable representation in the next Parliament, the campaign would focus a little bit more on the Constituencies where the party has fielded candidates.”
Top members of the party, including the Vice Presidential Candidate Dr Divine Ayivor, the National Chairman Moses Dani Baah, the National Treasurer Emmanuel Akazabre, the National Organizer, Abass Nuhu, National Communications Secretary, Awudu Ishaq, National Women’s Organizer Hidaya Ibrahim and the National Youth Organizer Mark Ewusi Arko would accompany the flagbearer for the campaign tour.
