Efia Odo bashes the police for refusing to grant the #Fixthecountry protestors the permission to demonstrate
Actress and video vixen – Efia Odo is part of the originators of the #Fixthecountry crusade has expressed her disappointment with the Ghana Police Service fir refusing to grant them the permission to demonstrate.
Earlier yesterday, the High Court presided by Justice Ruby Aryeetey issued a Restraining Order against the “FixTheCountry” demo that was slated for Sunday, 9th May 2021, or any other date until the restriction on public gathering is lifted.
Commenting on this saddening news Efia Odo who could not hide her anger and resentment at the Ghana Police Service’s scheme to prevent the demo from happening by all means bashed the security agency for being bias.
She lamented over how the Ghana Police Service could not stop electoral campaigns but rather, people who want to come together to fight for the country are been prevented.
She took to her Twitter page to fume that;
It wasn’t dangerous to campaign during COVID but it’s dangerous to peacefully protest against bad leadership?? Lies lies lies. I can’t believe this. This breaks my heart! I’m so sad
