Ghanaian actor, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto has laid emphasis on the main cause of why the once vibrant Kumawood movie industry took a nosedive.
According to Akrobeto, the industry was left in shambles after the famous load shedding “Dumsor” took place.
Remember that some time ago, veteran actor Agya Koo stated that the movie industry came to a standstill because some movie directors and producers ganged up to sabotage his career.
However, Akrobeto debunked these rumors stating in an interview with Peace FM that the unfortunate end of the industry had nothing to do with Agya Koo’s absence but for the introduction of dumsor and desire for foreign content by Ghanaians.
