The former MP for Ledzokuku constituency and deputy minister of health who was lashed by his NDC contender in just ended 2020 general elections, Dr Okoe Boye made his first public appearance yesterday.
The former member of parliament was pictured at the Lekma health centre where he was captured attending to the patients who have visited the hospital.
In a post he shared on his Facebook page with regards to his first day at work post succeeding the post-elections life, he disclosed that his colleagues we happy to see him back at work.
He wrote;
First post-election Monday consultations at the Lekma Hospital. Some staff were happy to see me doing fine, some surprised at my activity having assumed that not winning the Parliamentary election meant away with community service. It is important to understand that the joy a true Leader experience does not lie in the position he holds but in the Service his people receive. I thank God that you do not have to necessarily hold a position to assist others to experience a better world.
Because He lives, we can face tomorrow.
