Ghana’s current vice-president, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Mrs Samira Bawumia will be the first set of Ghanaians to receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The sitting president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo made this During yesternight’s state of the Nation’s address on the measures being employed by his government to help in the fight against the virus.
Ghana is the second African country to receive hundreds of thousands of the covid-19 vaccines.
This move was influenced by the perception thrown on the internet by most Ghanaian that the vaccine will turn them into zombies after receiving a jab of it
According to reports from Starr FM, the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo will also receive his jab at the 37 Military Hospital after Bawumia.
