The former President of America, Donald Trump before he left office pardoned American rapper, Lil Wayne and Kodak Black of their federal charges.
After a long lobbying process by the lawyer of Lil Wayne and Kodak, President Trump decided to release them off any criminal charges.
Lil Wayne sometime ago was slapped with drug and firearm possessions and was awaiting trial. This pardon by President Trump frees the American rapper from the trial and a possible jail sentence.
Many have credited this move by President Trump to the time when Lil Wayne endorsed him during his 2020 presidential campaign.
