Wendy Shay was in the news yesterday, this is because the rufftown records signee listed items that can be bought by an average income individual as her properties.
In a report by Gossips24.com, the Uber Driver revealed she has made a lot from music and that she has an iphone, an ipad and even a camera of her own.
The question was,
“Wendy, ever since you got signed to RuffTown Records, what is that one thing you have gained musically for yourself that you can say I got this camera or I got this carpet…”
Then Wendy Shay replied;
“I’ve got so many stuffs. Too many. Woo. I mean I can actually buy the latest iPhone that is in town right now. I mean I do have a lot of stuffs, camera, iPad, I mean stuffs that every girl at my age is going to need I do have money to buy all of these things,” was the singer’s response.
However, many think Wendy didn’t get the question right and her answer comes close to nothing when we talk of properties.
Reacting to all this, Music Producer and Entertainment Pundit, David Kwabena Bolton on Hitz FM.
According to David, people shouldn’t expect Wendy to acquire a house of her own and a car because she is quite young and at the early stages of her career.
He quizzed whether people actually expect Wendy Shay to buy a house after her first year in the music business, something he deems impossible. He said;
” If Wendy Shay has been in the music business for just a year, do you expect her to buy a house? How old is she? Early twenties? She is doing well in the music industry. I don’t think we should be bashing her. She is working for herself. .
