Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia offered to assist veteran actor Psalm Adjeteyfio with some money following a viral video that saw the actor crying for help.
Dr Bawumia through Dr. Gideon Boako dashed TT GH¢50,000 to help sustain himself as his financial muscles have been weakened
About GH¢30,000 of the money is expected to pay for the actor’s rent for five years, and ¢20,000 would be spent on his upkeep.
Many Ghanaians have since then applauded Dr Bawumia for his benevolence. The latest person to take about this gesture is DKB.
According to the “Headmaster Of Ghana Comedy” – He finds it very embarrassing for TT to always resort to the media to beg for money.
He also advised him to use the 20,000 cedis upkeep money from Dr Bawumia for investments so that he won’t run to the media for money again because it’s disheartening and puts the creative arts industry in a humiliating state.
