Date for #Fixthecountry demonstration finally drops (Full details)

At long last, the popular #Fixthecountry demonstration will finally see light after the bruises endured by the crusaders, back & forth banter and the controversies surrounding it will all be a thing in the past after the 4th August 2021.

With reference to a new flyer that has been spotted on Kaljay’s Twitter page, the #Fixthecountry demonstration will be held on Wednesday 4th August 2021.

Prior to the release of this date, the conveners of the crusade have had it rough with the government and authorities for reasons best known to them as to why they never wanted the demonstration to come on.

It took the intervention of the court for the demonstration to be officially recognised by the state.

Recall that on the 25th of June 2021, Efia Odo and some supporters of the #Fixthecountry agenda were arrested by the Ghana Police service.

According to reports, before the judge could give a ruling on the case, she was seen outside the courtroom taking pictures with people who were present to give support to the lawyers representing the protesters.

Efia Odo was reportedly asked by the police officer guarding the court premises to leave but it appears she didn’t obey the instruction, hence her arrest along with others.
