A couple believed to be kidnappers were so heartless that they hid a baby they stole inside a hand bag.
Upon their apprehension, they were nearly lynched by an angry mob but for the intervention of some Police personnel who were present.
The sad ordeal took place in Rivers State, Nigeria.
The couple were apprehended during a stop and search operation by police officers in the state.
They are currently in police custody and are being interrogated at the police command headquarters.
