A coronavirus patient has reportedly escaped from an isolation center in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah made this known to the people in a conversation on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
According to him, the medical and security personnel overseeing isolation and quarantine centres are on high alert continuously monitoring patients and suspected cases and are ready to do quick follow-ups if the numbers run short.
He, however, failed to disclose the exact isolation the patient was being kept
