Until we are through with the Dec 7 polls, politicians will never desist from bombarding our ears with their heaven on earth promises, weird political gimmicks, and other absurd stuff (such as pounding fufu for electorates, desilting chocked gutters, plaiting the hair of female voters, etc) just to get the ‘kokromoti power’ they want from the Ghanaian populace. In all this, without peace and stability, the elections wouldn’t even come off and not to talk of the transition or continuation for the next winner for the 2021 Head of State spot.
The clergyman made this known in one of his usual Facebook posts. His post read; “Young energetic man, coffin is more than 200cedis, so if you want to pick a ballot box and die, tell that politician to give you coffin money, mortuary fee, all funeral expenses before you foolishly die for him! You can’t take 200 cedis and die for your family to bear the cost! Sika ho ay3 den! Be wise and don’t sell your life to any politician! Say No To Violence!”
