A senior clinical engineer at the komfo Anokye Teaching hospital has invented a sandal crutch to help persons with disability.
Identified as Emmaniuel Wireko-Brobbey told Joy News that he was inspired to invent the leg crutch after observing the distress persons with disabilities go through.

According to him, he has met people with disability to find out how he could design something to aid them before inventing the sandal crutch.
He said; “I designed this [sandal crutch] to help people who have difficulty in walking especially the physically challenged. This will help carry out their normal duties without difficulty.”
