JUST IN: “I have spoken with President Buhari” – Nana Addo finally speaks on brutalities in Nigeria

The President of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has finally broken silence on the ongoing brutalities in Nigeria which has caused civilians in the country to lose their lives.

A lot of Ghanaians and West Africans have been calling on the ECOWAS to call the Nigerian government and it’s security agencies to order following the shooting of peaceful protestors in Lekki yesterday.

Ghanaians, especially Ghanaian celebrities kept on pressuring Nana Addo to respond or at least send a message across on the happenings.

Well, the wait is over as the ECOWAS chair took to twitter to send a message of hope to Nigerians and West Africans at large.

In a series of Tweets sighted by Gossips24.com, the ECOWAS Chairperson said,

“I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria. I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end, and has begun the processes that will lead to reform. 1/2″

“Violence, be it on the part of the Police or protesters, cannot be the solution. To the families who have lost their loved ones, I express my sincere condolences, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery. 2/2 #EndSARS
