Unfortunate news which has surfaced on the local digital space reports on the collapse of a three-storey church building in the Eastern Region.
From what we have gathered, the Church Of Promise huge building has unexpectedly fallen apart at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region.
According to people who were present at the terrifying scene, about 60 persons have been trapped inside the pieces of the disintegrated structure.
Neighbours have also alleged that the church-owned by Prophet Akuwa Isaac has been left uncompleted for the past 28 years.
Sadly, congregants had assembled for a church programme when the building collapsed.
Speaking to Adom News, a congregant said they had come to fast and pray for the founder of the Church since they had received information that he was not well.
When asked if Prophet Akuwa Isaac was in the building with them, the congregant replied in the negative stating that the Head Pastor was in his house close by.
