Ashanti regional chairman of the new patriotic party(NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as chairman Wontumi has been granted bail.
The well known politician who is known for his political speeches has been on the radar of the police service this past week regard on some contract payment with cocobod.
Wontumi was arrested after he made his way to the office of EOCO to answer some questions with regards to some payment that were made to him for constructing some roads.
EOCO who didn’t see reason to let him leave after his questioning was arrested and placed in custody.
New update coming in has revealed that Wontumi has been granted bail with Kennedy Agyapong allegedly standing in as one of his sureties.
