Confusion hits Black stars camp as coach C.K Akonnor reveals he hasn’t been paid since January

Ghana Football Association’s general Secretary, Mr Prosper Harrison Addo, has publicly disclosed that Blacks Stars’ coach, C.K Akonnor hasn’t been paid since after he was appointed to replace Kwesi Nyantakyi January.

As revealed by the general secretary, C.K Akonnor and his assistant haven’t receive even a pesewa after they inked the two-year-deal with the GFA.

I’m sure the Sports Ministry will pay them when there is money but we are always in constant communication with them [Akonnor and Duncan] so they know what the situation is

Mr Harrison Addo who is a board member of the GFA said on Asempa FM just this afternoon.

I’m sure C.K Akonnor is very pained but he doesn’t have the guts to speak out since he was appointed by those at the top whom he fears will terminate his contract should he spew out his displeasure at how the GFA is treating him.
