Tottenham Sacks Head Coach Nuno Espirito Santo

The head coach of the Tottenham football club Nuno Espirito Santo has been said to have been sacked just four months after being appointed as the coach of the club.

According to reports, the coach has not been able to perform up to the expectations of the club which has led to them terminating their contract which was supposed to take place for two years.

Nuno Espirito Santo is said to have signed a two-year contract in June after Jose Mourinho left the club.

Tottenham Hotspurs statement on their social media handle read saying;

“The club can today announce that Nuno Espírito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties.A further coaching update will follow in due course.

Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.”
