In a tragic incident, 7 students who were in the midst of writing their West Africa Senior High School Examination (WASSCE) at Gomoa Musano Senior High School in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region have been severely injured.
According to reports from Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, the incident occurred during the annual Akwambo festival, where hundreds of jubilant residents from Gomoa Musana were participating in a float.
Suddenly, a minibus lost its brakes and veered off course, plowing through the crowd. The impact left over 15 people injured, with 7 students in critical condition.
The injured individuals, totaling 22, were swiftly transported to the Agona Swedru Government Hospital for medical attention. Meanwhile, authorities have arrested the driver of the minibus to aid in the ongoing investigation.

The case has been officially reported to the Agona Bobikuma Police, who are now actively engaged in the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
