Power FM’s presenter, Oheneba Boamah has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
His arrested was confirmed by the Ghanaian Police Service in a statement issued today, December 14, 2020.
The 36-year-old suspect has been detained in police custody for allegedly insulting and threatening Ghana’s president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He has been cautioned on the offences of Offensive Conduct Conducive to Breaches of the Peace and Publication of False News contrary to sections 207 and 208(1) respectively, of the Criminal and Other Offences Act 1960 (Act 29).
