According to the judgment declared by Justice Anim Yeboah, the supreme court has no reason to rule for a re-run between John Mahama (the petitioner) and Nana Addo (2nd respondent).

The court therefore ruled in favour of the first respondent, Electoral Commission, represented by Madam Jean Mensa, and second respondent, Nana Akufo-Addo.

The judgement stated that the petitioner did not provide enough evidence to affirm his case.
