An inferno at the Akwatialine in Kumasi has destroyed tens of shops containing various wares.
The cost of the products there is estimated to be in hundreds of thousands of Ghana Cedis.
The inferno, which reportedly started in one of the shops, in a matter of minutes spread to other shops and engulfed areas.
Residents have called in the fire service who are currently battling the conflagration.
Many fire officers manning the fire tenders that have since arrived seemed to be making some headway until they run out of water.
They have called for reinforcement as they rush to fill…..
