Sad news coming in has revealed that a politician and one of the founding members of the National Democratic Congress Ama Benyiwa Doe has been confirmed dead.
The politician who was known for her love for the NDC party died at her residence in Tema this morning September 19, 2021.
Born Confort Saah, Ama Benyiwaa Doe has served as a member of parliament for Gomoa West Constituency in the central region from 1992 to 2004 when she was defeated.
May her soul rest in peace.
