Ghanaian Highlife artiste, Samuel Ofori Amponsah, also known by the name “Mr All 4 Real”, has urged his fellow musicians to boycott the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to him, the prestigious awards scheme in Ghana add no value ones music career.
He asserted that the organizers of the scheme also cash in on the brands of the musicians and later present them with wooden plaques.
The ‘Otoolege’ singer stressed that he has resolved not to attend any award ceremony and wishes his other colleagues do same.
As he had said in other interviews, Ofori wants these award schemes to award money, cars, or houses instead of plaques.
He said all these in an interview with Mike 2 on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall.
