Renowned sports journalist and critic, Countryman Songo has commented on the entire performance of the Black Stars of Ghana at the year’s AFCON 2019.
The host of sports show Fire for Fire on Adom Tv who is currently with the stars in Egypt revealed the entire Black Stars team lacked tactical discipline throughout the tournament.
Per him, the Black Stars did not look like a team because they did not have a coach. However, he urges the FA to employ a better coach. Furthermore, improve our local league.
Speaking all the way from Egypt via a phone in interview on Hitz Fm today, July 9, 2019, he said; “Coach Kwesi Appiah couldn’t even discipline his players. If I should be the coach for the Black Stars, I would learn how to be a master tactician, and get the best players. Our coach Kwesi Appiah should take a break. When we are moving forward for a better coach, we need to get a master tactician. “
