BEEF: Stephen Appiah omits Asamoah Gyan’s name from his list of top Black Stars players

Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah has shockingly omitted Asamoah Gyan’s name from his list of top 5 Black Stars players of all time.

Though Asamoah Gyan took over from Stephen Appiah as the captain of Ghana’s national team, it’s believed that what happened during the 2010 World Cup has caused a bad blood between both parties.

This has become evident in Stephen Appiah’s list which was a reply to Betway Ghana’s tweet.

The official handle of the sports betting company, Betway, asked netizens/tweeps to list their top 5 Black Stars.

Shockingly, Stephen named five former black stars players including, himself (Stephen Appiah), Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, Michael Essien, and Richard Kingston, whiles excluding Ghana’s all-time top goal scorer, Asamoah Gyan.
