One Babcock University student called Tobe Duru has caused the internet to blaze as it was rumored that he wanted to commit suicide.
Social media can be very powerful in bringing solutions.
For reasons that were not disclosed, his sister is reported to have raised an alarm on Twitter that he had threatened to kill himself. She therefore called on people via the internet to check up on him.
Some Twitter users decided to pursue the tweet and later came out with reports that he had been found and he is well.
“I’ve spoken to an authority in school and TOBE DURU HAS BEEN FOUND. Thank you guys.” One said.
“I reached out to my Aunt who is a staff, The DSA has gotten in contact with TOBE DURU, and he is fine atm.” Another tweeted.
