Veteran hiplife artiste, Nana Wiafe Asante-Mensah known by his stage name Asem has gone all out on Sarkodie once again after listening to “Brown Paper Bag”.
Sarkodie and Manifest surprised the world with a banger on pan Africanism dubbed “Brown Paper Bag” which has got a lot of people praising both rappers for setting aside their differences to preach positivity and oneness among Africans.
There’s been couple of reviews from the likes of Efia Odo and social media at large, but the latest backlash is coming from the now-struggling musician, Asem.
According to Asem, the artwork for the song – which sees Nana Addo and John Mahama signing a document to secure cash from Donald Trump and other world leaders – is so disrespectful and for that matter, the rapper and his team must come out and apologise for disrespecting the president of Ghana.
He went on to say in a series of tweets sighted by Gossips24.com that Sarkodie’s rap lines in his collaboration with M.anifest is wack – “borla” and does not make any sense – “nyansa bia nnim“.
“That artwork is very disrespectful and he must retract and apologize. On top of that too the song be yawa. Even If the song was well written and profound it will still be disrespectful but it’s wack. Manifest verse was good but the rest all be borla rap nyansa bia nnim.ASEM,” he tweeted.
