Asabee Pays Courtesy Call On Rawlings And Family to Mourn with Them

Mr. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, popularly known as Asabee has joined others to mourn with the family of former President Jerry John Rawlings on the loss of his mother.

The mother of Rawlings kicked the bucket on the 24th September.  Mr. Asabee, who is the The Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA)  therefore visited Rawlings in his office at Ridge to mourn with him and to sign the condolence book opened up in honour of the late Madam Victoria Agbotui.

Former President Rawlings was pleased with the gesture as he told of the relationship he had with Asabee in the past.

Rawlings said; “You were a stubborn boy those years but I also know you are an honest and courageous person”, former President Rawlings said.

Rawlings’ mother died at the age of 101.
