Ashanti Regional Deputy communication Director of the greatest opposition, National Democratic Congress, Alex Kwaku Asafo Agyei , has replied the New Patriotic Party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako over Mahama Alcoholism comment.
His harsh reply comes after Wontumi said Former President Mahama took Ghana to the IMF because he had use the taxpayers money on alcohol. Wontumi was equalizing NPP government’s IMF bailout to that of Former President John Mahama.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Akoma FM’s current affairs and political show, the communication officer asks are we going to the fund because Nana Addo has spent the public purse on Serwaa Broni? alleged concubine of the president.
” Am I allow to ask that we are going to IMF because Akuffo Addo has use our money hire private Jet to flaunt with his girlfriend friend Serwaa Broni at the cost the taxpayer. “
” … at least because WikiLeaks we know Nana Addo smokes” he added.
Mr. Agyei however call on Wontumi to public retract and apologize for the distasteful comment within seven 7 days or face the wrath of the NDC as they are also ready to use more uncharitable words to denigrate the sitting president.
“We the NDC have given Chairman Wontumi seven days to retract his ‘drunkard’ comment or face the full wrath of the NDC which will be more dirty than the tone he used in attacking John Mahama”.
