A physically challenged man whose name has been identified as Buhari Haruna, 22, has been arrested by the Nigerian police force after he was caught whiles kidnapping a man for a ransom.
The disabled man was said to have been arrested for the attempted kidnapping of one Hamisu Salisu in the Kankia community.
Buhari Haruna was charged with threatening and masterminding the kidnapping of the man who received a call from him as he threatened to kidnap and kill the family of the young man if he doesn’t pay 20million naira to him.
The physically challenged man who is a phone repairer upon his arrest revealed that it was his first attempt in the kidnapping business but got unlucky when he was caught.
He, however, revealed that his ulterior plan was to kidnap the father of Hamisu but upon investigation realized his father was in the hospital so he devised another method of calling to threaten Hamisu to provide him with money or risk harm been done to him.
Buhari the cripple was said to have been arrested after the police together with Hamisu played along by sending money to the location where the kidnapper asked for them to send the money.
