Angry youth at Ofankor has burnt the house of the landlord who shot his tenant, Gossips24.com has learned.
Yesterday, we shared a story of a landlord, Victor Steve Nana Kamkam allegedly shot and killed his tenant, Benjamin Okyere, a musician at Ofankor ‘Spot M’ in Accra.
The landlord claims he shot the deceased in self-defense after all attempts to evict the tenant after his 2-year rent expired proved futile.
Benjamin Okyere was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
District commander, DSP Asare commenting on the issue said, his team went to the crime scene to find a pool of blood at the entrance of the deceased’s rented house where they retrieved 4 spent shells.
In the suspect’s room, they retrieved two pump action guns loaded with seven and eight rounds of cartridges each and 32 cartridges.
The suspect has been detained to assist the police in their investigations.
