A very shocking incident happened in the Iseyin Grade C Customary court in Nigeria where an angry wife told her husband to restore her virginity before she signs divorce papers.
The husband identified as Lateef dragged his wife, Suliat to court seeking divorce on the grounds of gross disrespect, humiliation, and embarrassment in public places. According to him, his wife has been nothing but trouble.
He told the judge that he moved out of the house due to bad treatment given to him in his own house.
Suliat didn’t take the divorce serious as she only gave Lateef one condition before she signs the divorce papers.
According to her, Lateef should restore her virginity and good health before she agrees signing the divorce papers.
She revealed that Lateef used juju to charm her into marrying him and that has caused her so much stress and illness. The juju man may have been dead. Their case has since been adjourned to a later date due to Suliat bad health.
