As we are still in a state of a dilemma on whether to recognize the LGBTQ+ rights in the country or not; Even after the president firm stance on its condemnation, a video of an angry mob physically abusing a suspected g@y man has landed on the internet.
In ths fast trending video which is currently making waves on Twitter, the mob reportedly beat him and up and wickedly, tried to open his a**hole and stick a camera in there to film it.
Ghanaian journalist, Bridget Otoo who has seen this video has vehemently spoken against the mob’s actions in a post on Twitter.
She wrote;
You strip someone you considered gay in public, opened his anus and put a camera there to film it for the public to see. Whatever your beliefs are, that is wrong on every level!!! You humiliate him, torture, film him for the world to see. So that he can go and kill himself?
Clashing with Bridget Otoo’s lamentations, most tweeps also seem happy about this development by cheering it on the micro-blogging platform.
